Beck is a player for the LA Whale hockey team. After an amazing win in Boston, Beck meets Jolie and is instantly drawn to her. Since he's got a short break before his next game, he asks Jolie for 3 days to show him her city. She agrees and they spend the next 3 days enjoying their time together in and out of the bedroom. After thise days, they know that seeing each other again will be difficult but agree to try to say in touch. But as time goes on they reach out less and less. Until finally they meet up again, only to be thrown into a forbidden situation. I really enjoyed this story! Beck and Jolie's chemistry is off the charts and they seem to connect easily with one another. While this was definitely a case of right person, wrong time, it played out so well and I loved that Jolie was the one that had her f* it moment after trying to stay away. Received an ARC and give my honest review
