Spice: 🌶️🌶️ This book had me hooked from the very beginning and didn’t let go. There’s just something about the blend of gritty, broken characters and dark, post-apocalyptic vibes that made it impossible to put down. Vampires, zombies, and a unique world that somehow feels both brutal and tender at the same time? Sign me up. The standout for me was Atlan. He’s not your typical brooding, too-cool-for-feelings vampire. He’s powerful, sure, but also vulnerable in a way that felt refreshing. There’s emotional depth to him that makes you root for him; he’s flawed, unsure, and real. I loved that. The worldbuilding is so good. It’s such a cool twist on the zombie apocalypse genre, and it’s easy to get completely immersed. The pacing is fast, the writing is smooth, and the characters are easy to fall for. It’s not super smutty, but honestly, the emotional slow burn and relationship dynamics more than made up for it.
