Pucking Revenge

Brittanee Nicole

4.62

Good boys don't lie, fight, or steal. Up until the moment I learned that my uncle and coach, the man I've looked up to my entire life, was having an affair with my best friend-the only woman I've ever wanted-I was a good boy. The Saint of hockey.

Brooks Langfield-star goalie of the Boston Bolts and all around nice guy. Apparently, being good is overrated because seeing Sara blindsided when she learns that the man she was dating is married makes me just angry enough to stop thinking and finally take what I want-a real shot with my best friend. Fake dating Sara under the guise of revenge means I'm now lying to my family, fighting anyone who even looks at her the wrong way, and stealing kisses as if she's truly mine to touch.

Now she's the only person I want calling me a good boy and somehow I need to show her this is so much more than pucking revenge. Author's Note: Pucking Revenge is a laugh-out-loud romantic comedy featuring text banter from the Billionaire Langfield Brothers, a singing Boston Bolts hockey team, a cinnamon roll goalie in a friends to lovers romance with fake dating, no miscommunication, one bed, a hot tub, and quite a few ducks.

Brooks "Saint" Langfield is the Boston Bolts' goalie and all-around good guy. He is best friends with Sara, who does PR for the team. Brooks has been in love with Sara from the beginning of their friendship but never does anything about it so he can keep his focus on hockey. Sara has been secretly dating Brooks's uncle and coach. When she finds out that he's married, she is horrified and worried about her friendship with Brooks. But later, when Brooks overhears his uncle bad mouthing Sara, he steps in to help her. They decide to fake date to get back at him, only Brooks is not faking anything. Sara slowly realizes her feelings for Brooks go a lot deeper than friendship. I really enjoyed this story! Brooks was so sweet and I jist loved him so much! I also loved Sara and how she was just so openly herself. I haven't read Beckett's story but really enjoyed all the cameos and look forward to reading it. Received an ARC and give my honest review
