Nothing huge happens in this book, but it wrecked me. It’s just the life of one man.. normal, full of small disappointments, but told with such honesty and care that I couldn’t stop reading. It’s sad, yes, but also quietly beautiful and full of heart. Somehow, it made an “unremarkable” life feel incredibly meaningful. Possibly my favorite book of May and we're only on day 3.
