I enjoyed the book, and the story was very intriguing, however the pacing seemed all over the place and I found myself rather confused at times. I feel like this could be a really good book if it got spread out a little bit more (maybe another 100 pages or so) so that things could get properly explained without having to skip forward so much. I also disliked Darius’ entire character pretty much, as he was an asshole almost the entire time, he was just so unlikeable that I couldn’t understand why Sabrina would want to be anywhere near him by choice 😅 Also, just what was the point in being there for Sabrina’s “protection” when all he did was take her directly to the vampire that wanted to kill her??! (I forgot the character’s name, the guy her best friend immediately jumps on at the start)
