For a book so short (not a bad thing!) I found myself so angry with one character, and very quickly. I managed to get so invested in the story so quickly that I couldn't do anything but finish it in one go. As the story progressed, I found some parts were a little rushed. And yes, this is a short story at ~140 pages, but I felt like towards the end there could have been a little more in certain aspects. I have been left intrigued about the rest of the series. Thank you to BookSirens and the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
