Alrighty let's get the elephant out of the room first. I personally didn't like the way Gretchen writes her paragraphs. For example within the same page you would see Wylies name come up at least (no I didn't count) ten times. Which almost made me DNF but I pushed through and found what I think would be a goldmine of a book (once you get past the wording.) The main reason why the rating is 4.5 is the twists! Oh god the twists! Not that they were bad or anything.. here I'll just put a spoil over it and if your one of the ones who reads reviews before reading the book just know I won't judge you but majority of what's after this is a crapton of spoilers. <spoiler>So we start the book off with two girls (Josie/Wyile and Becky) running from someone (Randy Cutter) who came out of Josies home after killing her parents. Which in all honesty I dont see why Randy would want to kill the parents but then again he says it himself that the main target was Wylie all along going as far as naming his daughter(the girl in the basement) Josie. Messed up right? To be honest I was really rooting for it to be Jackson or Ethan until Ethan turned up dead in the barn strangled by Randy. At least Becky and the daughter got away even if Josie (the daughter) pulled the trigger that killed her father.</spoiler> Anyway thanks for coming to my Ted talk. See yall with the next one!
