Boys of brayshaw high
From USA Today best-selling author Meagan Brandy comes an enemies-to-lovers new-adult romance full of morally corrupt and power-driven teenagers.
"Girls like you aren't exactly welcomed at a place like this, so keep your head down and look the other way."
Those were the exact words of my social worker when she dropped me in my newest hellhole, a place for "troubled teens".
I didn't listen, and now I'm on their radar.
They expect me to play along in their games of hierarchy, to fall in line in the social order they've deemed me fit for.
Too bad for them, I don't follow rules. Too bad for me, they're determined to make sure I do.
Inconceivably attractive and treated like kings...these are the boys of Brayshaw High.
And I'm the girl who got in their way.
This is book one in a three-book series.

Loved this book so much. Raven is such a badass and loved seeing her defiance. Can’t wait to see what else in store for her and the boys.

Personally I feel that 2 stars is pushing it. I had such high expectations for this book due to its 4.28 rating, but good golly people. This book was not good! The enemies to lovers trope strikes an appeal to most avid romance readers, myself included. I love how you get to see characters feelings and views change entirely on others. But! This book had none of that at all!! Our lead female character Raven has the same hostile personality as when she started out in the beginning, minus a few soft spots towards the end. The Brayshaw boys on the other hand acted more like they had a lobotomy than any character growth. None of the characters had any depth. Sure, you knew a little of their background but as people they were about as flat as boards. Nor was the plot any more believable than real life unicorns and fairies. The phrasing was absolutely awful, more so when the author was trying to incorporate cuss words. I do not know how I didn't DNF this book. I have no idea if the other books in the series are any better. Willing to try them and give the benefit of the doubt but I do not have high expectations. If you loved this book and completely disagree, good for you. I'm glad you could enjoy it without wanting to rip your hair out.
