This has been my favorite from this series by far at this point. I’m extremely excited to continue this series. I’m in love with the characters and this world. I hope Bronte becomes likable. The way he reacted when they put that ability-restraining thing on Sophie gives me hope. There’s so much I could talk about with this book, but I’m not completely sure what and how to say it. Listen, I’m a *HUGE* Sophie and Keefe shipper. But Fitz was growing on me during this book. That may change, who knows. I’m giving Dex the benefit of the doubt of not knowing that the council would use that on Sophie, but I don’t remember if he knew or not. I thought Alina would be good on the council, but nope. I really liked Leto in this book. I’m excited to see how everything continues. Overall, I give it 5/5 stars, and I’ll eventually read it again.
