Okay so I'm gonna avoid spoilers for as long as I can with this review, but it did take it a good long time to actually get to the good part which I know it's mostly because its doing a bunch of worldbuilding but at the same time I kinda wished there were even more dragon related stuff in the book but then again that's just me. Did I like the characters? Yeah Authur wasn't one of those typical teenage boys with black eyeliner and being all 'You'll never understand me Dad' proceeds to flip hair and dissappear into the ether I understand the entire viewpoint of Authur and his dad living in poverty even though <spoiler>his dad was a Duke at some point</spoiler> Worldbuilding.. I still don't quite understand the significance of the different ranks outside of like Legendary being better than Rare, Uncommon, and common. That's kinda self explanatory ngl I mean yeah Legendary cards (mostly?) have no mana cost but still. The main thing that brought it down to a .25 is how slow the book was going at times like I said before. I also ran across the whole characters only doing a couple things tops before they dip completely out of the story. Overall it was decent.
