Honestly it really didn't feel like the characters did much of anything except follow where the plot was going. Granted it was a breath of fresh air when we finally got a Brix and Joy chapter granted it was literally all of one chapter. The big bad literally just threw mind magic and as soon as Authur/Brix got close they dipped faster than a father on the way to get milk.
