The next novel in the Ice Planet Barbarians series, an international publishing phenomenon—now in a special print edition with a bonus novella! The unthinkable happens when a devastating accident causes Pashov to forget his mate, but Stacy will do whatever it takes to make her family whole again. . . . The first time I laid eyes on Pashov, we resonated.

I was happy and in love, and we were raising a beautiful child together. All of that was torn apart when the world shook. My mate nearly died.

He woke up from his coma . . . but he can’t remember me. Or our son. Every memory of the past two years is gone.

And that changes everything between us. How can I love someone who doesn’t remember me? How can I not when I know he’s still my mate underneath it all?

3.25 ⭐ It seemingly took Stacey forever to realize Pashov is the same man as before; he is just missing his memories of their time together. She was the most frustrating FMC to date in this series. Stacey was so whiny and self absorbed in her own misery that she didn't seem to consider how Pashov must feel. It is not till much later in the story (with the help of others) that she realizes how her actions affect Pashov and ponders how he might be feeling about it. Pashov is unsure how to act around her since whenever he approached her, she would get upset or cry, so he started to avoid her. But also with some helpful advice, he realizes he needs to step up and put some effort in and take the responsibilities of being her mate, if though she rebuffs him. Even with him trying his best, Stacey is still cold and sad around him whenever he is around her. Finally (way too long imo), she recognizes how she is acting is unfair to Pashov, but still continues the behavior. While he tried his best to communicate with her about his feelings and thoughts, she still would not open up or see reason. Then there was a whole miscommunication trope because apparently Stacey forgot what she told Pashov, and he was waiting for her to rescind that request. Overall, this story was annoying for most of the book because of Stacey, but I did love Pashov. “You wait for my memories to come back, but they do not change who I am. They do not change that I am the mate that loves you. They do not change how I feel when I look at you.” “Like I am not whole unless you smile. Like the suns rise when you move closer. Like there is nothing sweeter than touching you and hearing your moans of pleasure.” At her hesitant smile, I continue. “I do not need memories to feel joy when I see you holding my son. I do not need memories to know that there is no greater feeling than sinking my cock deep inside you. I do not need anything in this world but your smile and your heart, Stay-see. And that is why I will wait until you invite me back. If it takes twenty seasons, I will wait.”
