A sweet and cute romance. It was good to see Bek, who has been desperate to have a mate & kids, finally find a mate. Ellie has been mistreated badly as a slave; she was abducted when she was young, so she doesn't trust and has built up walls of defense around her. She is wary and angry initially. Bek feels guilty and doesn't understand why initially, when he sees how upset Ellie is to be there. Bek almost immediately starts to feel protective of Ellie and is beside himself with happiness when they resonate, and is more than willing to be as patient with Ellie as she needs. Ellie gradually starts to feel safe with Bek, and it is wonderful to see their relationship grow and turn into love.
