I had high hopes for this since I love most of S. J. Tilly's books, but sadly, this one felt lackluster to me. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't really good either. The insta love in this one was a bit much, which normally doesn't bother me. There was virtually no buildup to their relationship, which bothered me. Also, the character development was lacking. The baking show aspect was interesting since I love watching them. I did love it at the end, where all the Alliance couples signed up for baking class. Cassie definitely needs this for Hans' sake.
