4.25 ⭐ A sweet & warm romance, mafia adjacent, with a couple who are great together. Lev doesn't feel or process things the same way other people do, but he is so sweet and tries to be so understanding towards Mina. He truly falls for her early on. Mina blossoms under his protection; she had a hard few years on the street before meeting Lev. Lev never lies, and some of the things he says to Mina without him realizing it are just perfect and beautiful. Mina is sweet and caring. Seeing Lev as such a loving father was heartwarming. For whatever reason, while listening to the audiobook, I found the FMC calling the MMC sweetie all the time extremely annoying.
