Deceiving the Corsair
The crew of the pirate ship, the Lovesick Fool, are worried about their navigator, Sentorr. He's obsessed with working, spending all his time on the bridge. It's not work the big blue alien is truly obsessed with, though.
It's a female.
Sentorr's convinced that Zoey, a female navigator on another pirate ship, is his mate. She won't show him her face, though, or agree to meet him. She's happy to have steamy, late-night conversations with him over comm channels, though.
He's determined to find her and claim her, no matter what it takes. But when he does locate her and discovers that she's been lying to him about who—and what—she is, will he still love her?
Or is the fact that Zoey's human too much for this blue-skinned male?

Sentorr likes the humans who are on board the Love Sick fool who are mated with the crew, but also a bit annoyed by them (mainly for changing the dynamics by not going on as many missions as before). Sentorr hasn't been glued to the bridge out of duty, but because of his desire to spend time talking with Zoey, who has led him to believe she is a Mesakkah female (she does wish she was one instead of human, being raised by them since she was 10). They started off as friends, and it has evolved into flirting with plenty of dirty talk, and now he is in love with her. She has claimed she is too ugly and doesn't want him to see her (she believes if he finds out she is human, their relationship will end). He insists he doesn't care what she looks like, but to no avail. Zoey was kept, protected, and cared for by 3 Mesakkah males and is now the ship navigator of their ship, The Little Sister. After numerous attempts to coax her to show him a picture or have a video call with him, and once trying to set up a meeting with the crew to hire them, which she cancelled when she found out. They finally get to meet when he and his crew rescue her and her brothers from a trap. She is torn by her loyalty to her brothers and serving as their navigator, and her love for Sentorr and staying with him. Each wishes the other to stay on their ship. Her sense of loyalty to her brothers has her going back to her ship, and she is miserable. While all her brothers want is for her to be happy so they devise a meet-up and convince her to follow her heart. Sentorr ensures that Zoey gets to see her brothers as often as possible, even if one of them is a pain in the ass. This was a cute story and was a nice ending for the crew of the Love Sick fool. I look forward to the brother's books.
