3.25⭐ Maeve is an extrovert among mostly introverts on Risda 3. She wasn't as traumatized by her slavery compared to others; she developed more of a need to be among people because of the loneliness she endured while being held in captivity (zoo-like environment). Zhur is a prince on the run from his brother's coup to take over. Maeve spent most of her credits ordering a pet cat on the sly, but instead, she got a cat like alien Zhur. Zhur is a stuck-up noble accustomed to being surrounded by servants and luxury. He is very demanding and haughty in the beginning, expecting Maeve to be his servant, but she, on the other hand, is having none of that. He is currently in fear of being found and executed by his brother's assassins. Maeve loves to talk to people (a lot), and she is lonely, especially at night & once Zhur loses some of his snobbishness, she likes having him around. Their relationship is a very slow burn, turning into friendship, then to more. I enjoyed both MCs. The story was way too long and could have been edited down significantly, since at times it felt like there was a lot of filler.
