3.5 ⭐ Piper has learned how to act to play a part to survive. She acts stupid and naive when she bribes the authorities to sell a prisoner to be her husband. She chooses Vordigar, and he goes along with it, figuring it is better than being transported back to a prison planet, and he can leave and escape the marriage later. Piper needs to marry because she is afraid for her safety. Other women have been forced to marry and ended up dead for their new husbands to take over their land. So she has come to the drastic conclusion that she needs to marry and have a child. Vordigar notices how she stiffens up before they intend to have sex, since she has offered her body up to him in exchange for marriage & protection. He takes things slowly and has her show him what she likes and ensures it is quite pleasurable for her. Vordigar has a scarred face and has a troubled past as well.
