I received a free arc from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. ' *Where desire ignites between bullets, blood, and burning rubber.* ' There was definitely all of this in this book! It was action packed, spicy, swoony, fun, and kept me interested from the start. I enjoyed the way we got to see the MC's pov's throughout the story, and how their families were linked and had the history that I haven't often seen in mafia books. Valentina is a badass, street racing mafia daughter, with her bestie Remi backing her up always. Maksim is the one person she looked to as she was growing up, and when he comes back in to her life in a surprising way, it doesn't take long her each of them to realise the other has changed in many ways since they last spoke. The only thing that let me down a little was that there were sometimes time jumps and sometimes I wasn't all that certain just how much time had passed from the previous scene. Otherwise, this was a very good read and I'm eager to read the next book!
