The beginning of the book held promise of a more engaging plot than was ultimately delivered. Don't get me wrong, a lot of smut is great, but this had way too much with very little plot or character development. I found myself skimming some of the sex scenes. It got to the point where it became unbelievable that any woman could realistically (I am more than willing to stretch what is realistic most of the time while reading, but this hit my limits) have as much as sex as her without being beyond sore and needing a break. I do like the characters and hope we see a more in-depth development for them and more plot in future books.
