Auden and Hutch meet in an airport lounge. They make some conversation and go their separate ways when Hutch leaves to board his plane back to Seattle. Once on the plane, Hutch gets an unexpected neighbor. It's none other than Auden. They both bond over their hate of flying and get each other through it, even when they have to make an emergency landing in Chicago. They end up at the same hotel, and Auden tells Hutch that it must be fate. They have a night together and don't plan on seeing each other again. But what happens when she's the owner of the Sinclair hotels that his hockey team always stays. Oh, and she just partnered with the team, too. This book was sooo good and implied meeting the new characters from the Serpents. Teagan's writing is always so good, and this was no exception. Look forward to reading more about the Serpents. Received an ARC and give my honest review
