Ready for Romance by Debbie Macomber A quick short love story. The story reminded me a little of the movie Sabrina with Audrey Hepburn. Damian is the older brother. sigh A typical Macomber romance and a nice happy ending. Girl has a crush on the younger Dryden brothers. Girl grows up and then falls in love with the older brother. Hence why this reminded me of the movie. But it's got a slight modern version - the girl, Jessica, is a legal assistant and works for big company layers Damian and Evan. I liked this and will definitely add to my favorites list. Just thought the whole "does she/ he love me?" banter was a little too much. And it is outdated, but that's no surprise as this was first published in 1993. Ready for Romance goes along with her Ready for Marriage in a Ready for Love compilation. Romance follows Damian and Jessica's relationship. Really liked these characters. Damian the most. Loved him. The other short story, Marriage, follows Evan and Mary Jo's relationship. But I got the idea with what happened and will come of their relationship with just reading Ready for Romance. They didn't shine enough for me to read their story in Ready for Marriage.
