Saint is Kole's persona for his baser tendencies. Kole is not a nice guy, and he is unhinged, obsessed, and possessive of Violet. He is a psycho, but he does give Violet what she wants; she is into what he does and only goes as far as he thinks she wants him to. Kole is all about payback & revenge (an eye for an eye type of guy). Violet has a dark side (desires) that she has repressed until Kole. She tries to analyze him to help figure herself out as well, but never quite manages it. I felt their relationship was missing the romance and closeness that would indicate they were in love. I didn't feel a strong emotional connection between them, just Kole's obsession with her and her need for him to fulfill her kinks. “Did you think I’d forget just because I didn’t say anything? Nothing slides when it comes to you, kitten, so don’t mistake anything I do for kindness. You know better than that.” “It’s a reminder to you both about who you belong to.
