I did love Jacob in all his obsession and devotion. Jacob's plan to make Melody think her cousin is doing something bad to her to get her to move in with him is kind of impressive, in a sick sort of way. Did not like the way he persuaded her that she is the only woman who turns him on. The plot was good with a decent mystery. This was my first time reading a sports romance (not a fan of sports, but neither was the FMC). Jacob's thoughts on Melody: That’s what she deserves. To be wooed and cherished. And sometimes, she deserves to be called a dirty little whore and fucked like an animal. I don’t make the rules.
