3.75 ⭐ A quick, short read that was better than I thought it was going to be. It is steamy, and I love their dynamic together. Lachlan is dangerous, scary, an anti-hero, alphahole who is dominant, ruthless, sexy, and stubborn. Kiera is bold, feisty, and stubborn. Their chemistry together is undeniable. He likes that she stands up to him and pushes him as no one else would dare, but he also allows her to. The audiobook narration is good.
