🪻Small town murder mystery 🪻1930s England 🪻Forced proximity 🪻Opposites attract Georgie is my favorite kind of fmc- a smart woman in man's world who takes absolutely none of their shit. She's solved 4 murders the police couldn't! She has a small cult following! I'm not sure if I want to be her or be with her. Sebastian's ok I guess (I'm definitely just jealous he gets to be in her orbit) I am not well versed in cozy mysteries and while I understand the Agatha Christie nod, I must confess I'm sure I do not appreciate every layer and reference. Maybe I expected too much from the mystery side of this but the big reveal (if I can call it that) didn't feel all that satisfying. Although maybe this is how they usually go? So if these are your jam I'm sure you'll have fun with this! thanks to Atria books for this eARC!
