This is one f*ed up twisted read. I am very conflicted by how I could not put this down and read well into the night only to get a few hours of sleep (worth it). The story drew me in, and I needed to see how it would end. Now I need to start book 2, if it is as captivating as this one, I guess I will be a bit sleep-deprived this week. I wanted to hate Julian, but for some messed up reason I don't wish to examine, I did not. I even hope for a hea for the two of them. This book was the right amount of dark for me; any more and it would be too much (darker ones and with more abuse, I have not been able to finish). There were some triggers here; don't get me wrong, this definitely has many dark aspects to it.
