Crulden Is a clone of the original Crulden the Ruiner, an unparalleled, violent, viscous monstrous gladiator doesn't remember his past well and is bought to fight in gladiator battles. His new owner wants him to train, but until he sees Mina, the human slave, nothing convinces him to cooperate. Mina was not afraid of him like the others; she was sassy but tried to hide that to blend in. She trusts Crulden and is protective over him. He is very protective and obsessed with her. Though there is a time when she thinks badly of Crulden, and it nearly breaks him, and it is so sad, until she realizes she was wrong. As they find love and happiness together, of course more happens to break that up. Thankfully, not too much time passes before they have their hea. "No one is taking you from me," he snarls, the sound low and dangerous even as he oh-so gently pets my hair. "Mine. All mine." I am a bad guy, I realize, because I do want more from her than just companionship. I want touches. I want her smiles. I want her scent full of something other than fear. Now that she is here with me, I can take care of her. Eventually, maybe she will trust me enough to let me touch her. Until then, I will be her protector.
