Demon Bound
She would do anything to escape her husband's mistreatment... even make a deal with a demon. When Raiya finds a monster from the hells chained in her husband's dungeon, she sees an opportunity to free herself and spite her cruel husband at the same time. It's said that demons are violent, unfeeling beasts, but they're also immensely powerful.
If she can use her knowledge of rune magic to break the demon's binding, he might agree to take her with him when he escapes the castle. The only catch? Demons feed on the lust and fear of mortals.
Someone will have to feed him while they're on the run. The demon only requires one thing in exchange for his protection-her. Demon Bound is an adventurous, angsty, sweet & spicy standalone set in the high fantasy Ardani universe.
This book is intended for adults and contains steamy scenes and violence. See the author's website for detailed content information.

This was a spicy and surprisingly cute read with a decent fantasy plot to back it up. Azreth and Raiya start off adorably awkward like, spicy creeper vibes with a dash of mutual confusion. He's all brooding demon energy with the whole "has to feed" thing while she's got that unsure of herself but kinda wants to be super strong willed vibe that makes their early interactions both funny and filled with tension. Their chemistry builds in a way that feels natural, even as they fumble through their feelings or in Azreth's case, trying to come to terms with his feelings being very unapproved in the Hells. The world building isn't complex or overwhelming, but it helps keep things moving along quickly. Jai and Madira were these super cute siblings that brought a good balance to the story as well. It gives a bit of Duskwalker Brides vibes at times, but it stands on its own and I'm looking forward to the next book! Thank you to The Nerd Fam for the gifted eARC. #demonsofardani #thenerdfam
