Freida McFadden

i did not like this one as much as the others. Millie's pov was so boring. she did nothing, spent majority of the time being jealous, and did nothing some more. i would have loved this so much more if it was from any other perspective besides millie's. boring, didnt make sense, just meh.

This book… I don’t even know what to say! I thought I had the twist figured out and then another bit of info was dropped in, then I thought I’d figured it out again… I never saw the actual ending happening!! Freida is an absolute genius with the plot and I love how neatly this book tied up (and how it connected to book one!)

3.75 ⭐ rounded up. Well, I didn't see that ending coming! I loved getting to see Millie's story continue from the earlier books, but she still pissed me off a bit with how her character seemed to change after book 1. The pacing was a bit off here. The earlier chapters were slow and seemed full of filler while the later chapters were filled with drama, tension, and plot twists! Overall, I enjoyed getting to dive back into Millie and Enzo's story, but I don't feel like this book was necessary to the series.
