I couldn't decide between 2 or 3 ⭐ so I'll end with 2.5 ⭐ rounded up. I came very close to DNF'ing this around the 30% mark because I had very little interest in the characters or their stories. I pushed through for The 52 Book Club's challenge (related authors). The last 25% really pulls everything together though and the epilogue was done well imo.
