Thank you to the author, Rebecca Garcia, for the gifted eARC in exchange for an honest review! ——— This was a delightful retelling of Cinderella, featuring cozy baking, a super cute pocket dragon, and a revenge plot gone wrong! I really enjoyed the writing style, world-building, and characterizations of both Elle and Reuben. Elle is honest about her mistakes and Reuben is a yearner through and through. While this was an original take on the fairytale, it held so many other familiar fantasy elements that made it a quick and enjoyable read. I devoured it in one sitting.
