4.5 ⭐ rounded up. The ending gave me goosebumps! The pacing in the first half was a bit uneven and I found myself getting distracted away from the story easily, but the last half makes up for that and more! The story of the Eastwood sisters, Juniper, Agnes, and Bella, is beautifully written with elements of sisterhood, feminism, witchcraft, and nursery rhymes woven together. I especially enjoyed the nursery rhymes reimagined as lost spells. If you love witchy historical fantasy with a sharp feminist edge this would be a fantastic read!
