I guess my expectations for this novella were way too high. I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the scene created with the pumpkin patch, fog, music, forest, jack-o-lanterns, and the whole atmosphere the mmc created. It was pretty lackluster aside from that, and at the 70% point, I really got annoyed with the story. It had a ton of potential, but sadly, it didn't live up to it.
