This was my first time reading an omegaverse book, and I really enjoyed it. Clove was rejected by her mate when they found out she was a half breed and sent to Carnage Island, which is supposedly filled with criminals rejected by their packs. I liked all the MCs. The MMCs were all very caring and protective of Clove. I thoroughly enjoyed how her wolf was in the beginning, at odds with her human side, and it was funny some of the things her wolf did. She did not know she was an omega, and because she was half Carnage Black Mountain wolf, she could be Caius's, Volt's & Tieran's mate. Unlike the pack she grew up in, the Black Mountain pack treat their females so much better. Unlike her pack (Nantahala or the one she was going to mate into Santeelah), which was led by a deceitful misogynistic leader, the Black Mountain pack males would do anything for their omega and are very protective, possessive & loyal. There was a good mystery to the story as well. It was fun trying to piece everything together to figure out who was behind it and what everyone knew. The audiobook was good. I especially loved the British accent of Tieran.
