I enjoyed this so far; it is an interesting and unique story. I like the FMC and loved Tanner. The other two guys, Marlowe and Brooks, are assholes so far. Marlowe and Katelynn are mean to each other; they try to hurt each other with their quips. I wish we had gotten more of the guys' personalities in this first book. Kate has been lonely, and you can see her appreciating having people in her life who look like they won't be leaving her. Witchy and spooky, great for an October read. The audiobook's male narrator could have done a better job making the three male voices distinctive. “I’m going to treat her like a fucking goddess. I’ll give my life for her. I’ll give her whatever she wants.” “I goddamn told you that she’d think we left her. Fuck, Brooks. This is not how a man treats his woman. And it’s certainly not the way to build trust in someone that’s used to being abandoned.” “You were over here panicking because you thought we’d left you. That isn’t going to happen. Does the sun rise every morning? Yeah. Are you stuck with us? Mm-hmm. As close to a constant as constant can get.” My fingers are in his hair, and my body is on fire. He’s so horrible, but he’s so hot. This is terrible, and yet I can’t shake the feeling that we were married under a moonless sky. Me, and three witch stalkers. I married three witch stalkers by accident. Shit. “Then maybe ask yourself: why the fuck would you want a good guy to begin with? Villains fuck better anyway.”
