3.75 ⭐ rounded up This won me over with that ending alone! Plot twist I didn't even see coming and absolutely the reason I’ll be picking up book two eventually. Scarlet’s strength, ability to get back up and rebuild herself from her past is amazing. Her found family at the college was a big highlight for me, BUT the love triangle with Rhodes and Shayde had me fully invested. Clearly Rhodes is the superior twin. #fightme The worldbuilding and writing felt a little uneven at times, but not enough to ruin the experience. Overall, a solid read with a strong finish that has me ready for more.
