This book is AMAZING. I can’t believe how much I’ve forgotten about it, and how much I cried towards the end. Again. Rereading this, I feel like I caught a lot more than I did the first time around. I love these characters so much and feel like Rick Riordan’s done a wonderful job at building up the suspense to the ultimate fight – occurring in the next and final book of the series. Gods, I can’t wait to reread it :)

Another epic instalment of Percy’s story, I like how the stories evolve as he gets older as this one seemed much more exciting and I feel like the stakes were far higher. I enjoy the dynamic between Percy and Nico, their relationship seems to be developing as the story progresses.
