The multiple povs at the beginning were hard to follow at first, but I was able to lock in around chapter 9. I really enjoyed the unique word building and magic systems in this book! The use of magical creatures along with each clan was fascinating to me and I would love to read more about them. Serapio, Xiala, and Naranpa as MCs were all loveable and well thought out. The back stories for Naranpa and Serapio really pulled me in, but the mystery behind the Teek woman intrigued me. I can't wait to read the next book to see what happens!
