If there’s one message to take away from this entire book, it’s that you never underestimate a Dolphin. After feeling so much disappointment for Rick Riordan’s two most recent publications, this has been a joyous return to what initially made me fall in love with his work. The writing style is humorous and honest, plotting fast-paced, and the characters’ motivations read clear, while making the twists that much more impactful. Was the book perfect? No, but it really gave me hope. I have never read Jules Verne’s works, but this book has really made me want to “dive” into them.
