I wanted to DNF this so bad and I really regret not doing it. The writing lacked emotion and I the characters weren’t at all loveable, they felt very wooden and there was nothing special about them. The plot just wasn’t plotting and it felt like the book was written by AI. Archers Voice reminded me of Credence, it wasn’t unhinged like it, but the characters felt similar and the vibes were comparable. Maybe I’m still traumatised by credence and that’s why this book didn’t stand a chance?
