Okay. I have ... many thoughts about this book and most of them are absolutely not nice. There's only 4 people in this entire thing I care about. The heirs can just fall off a cliff for all I care. As long as Darcy, Tory, Orion, and Geraldine are safe, I don't care about the rest of them. This entire book felt as if someone had taken my childhood and shoved it into a book and I definitely did not care for that one bit. I really don't see how I'm gonna forgive the heirs for attempted murder or how Tory is supposed to end up with Darius after that but you go girl!!! Let's get with our attempted murderer because he's hot. Makes perfect sense. Anyways. 3/5 stars and I will unfortunately be continuing with the series.

Read this for the second time recently as I’m doing a full series reread, and even though I knew mostly what was going to happen (from my first read through) I still feel like it hit me in the feels and still managed to surprise me 3rd read: I forget how much the heirs piss me off in the early books 😂 I know they’re meant to but still it gets me haha
