Holy shit stick. I didn’t think I’d enjoy this as much as I did. I’ve put off reading the Shadowhunters Chronicles as long as possible, though I must say, I actually regret doing that. This book was definitely a great start, and I don’t regret reading it. I loved the characters in this book so much. Tessa can have Will. I want Jem. He’s mine ☺️. I was worried that the book wouldn’t give any history of Shadowhunters at all, but it did, so I was extremely happy with that. I don’t think I’ve got anything else to say, so I’ll wrap this up. Overall, I give this book 5/5 stars, I highly recommend it, and I’ll most likely read it again at some point!

Ugh I almost forgot how much I love this book!!! The reveals (even though I already knew them) still sometimes shocked me as it has been a while since the last time I read them! The ending still gets me and the emotional parts still make me cry regardless of how many times I’ve read them
