Adam is going down the path to follow in his father's footsteps to become a preacher when he discovers his father has been preaching lies. Sage works/kinda co-owns a sex club with he boyfriend, Brett, when she realizes that Brett just doesn't care about her the way he should. When Adam and Sage meet at a diner when Adam gives up his seat to her, they hit it off, and neither can get the other out of their head. When Adam realizes all his dad's transgressions, he feels betrayed and doesn't know what to do anymore. Adam and Sage end up deciding to fake date to get back at Sage's ex and Adam's dad, but what happens when feelings get in the way. This was such a good story. I wasn't sure what to expect, and I am not at all religious, but I absolutely loved it. ❤️ Received an ARC and give my honest review
