"[Narrator Rebecca Soler's] narration, by turns curious, afraid, frustrated, and exhilarated, immediately draws the listener into this world. In a story full of colorful characters, she gives each one a distinct voice that is faithful to their descriptions in the text." — Publishers Weekly on...

I can honestly say that without a doubt, this has been my favorite of the trilogy so far. I love Tella, I love Legend, I love Jacks. I also really loved the plot line with this one. Yeah, they were at Caraval again, but this one felt more immersive. Caraval played with your mind, but this felt more like a typical fantasy book, and I loved it. I loved learning about the Fates. I’m also curious about how Paloma will come into play during Finale. I’m glad that Tella got her out of the card. I actually teared up a little when Tella put herself in the card and when Legend left her on the steps after she won 🫠. That hurt. Overall, I give this book 5/5 stars, and I can’t wait to read the next one!
