I loved summer so much she was an amazing female lead and I loved her and Brenna’s instant friendship. Also the fact summer was always for women supporting women. However Colin wasn’t the lead for me, he just felt too standoffish and I didn’t get the feeling that he even liked summer which made it hard for me to fully feel invested in their story. He was also a shitty friend, he had the perfect out to tell his friend that he was into her and he lied and said he wasn’t and let him take her on a date and everything. I need the male lead to be utterly obsessed with the female lead and not be afraid to show it. Therefore this book wasn’t for me. I may be willing to try the others because maybe the other guys are more my vibe.

My Kindle told me I’d read this before. But it was never logged on GR, and I didn’t exactly recall anything as I was reading it. Another fun hockey romance from Elle! I really do enjoy her books. The way they all interconnect and previous characters make their appearances as you read each book is one of my favourite things. I really liked these characters, I related to both Summer and Fitzy in different ways. I enjoyed seeing their relationship develop and their personalities working with the other to get them to a place they needed to be to get together.
