Rounded up from 3.5 ⭐️ The end of this book really made it for me, everything started to happen and come together at the end and I cannot wait to see where we go next. I mostly did the audio for this book and it was really good, I almost finished the whole thing in one go. There were some things I was definitely able to predict but also a couple of surprises. I really liked the uniqueness of the magic system in this book and honestly the period blood thing didn’t bother me at all I thought it was pretty resourceful. I’m excited for more Rune and Gideon in the next book and hopefully a Cressida beheading.
