EDIT: I really enjoyed this more the second time, I think. I already knew what was happening, so it wasn't as much of a shock when it did happen, and I knew what to expect. I think it's still a 4.5/5 for me though. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've been bamoozled. Genuinely flabbergasted. I didn't think I'd enjoy this book whatsoever. But here we are, several months after starting this, and now I can't wait for book 2. I don't think I've ever felt for a character more than I have for Shannon. Because what do you mean there's actually men out there like her dad? Wdym people actually allow that to happen to their kids? It makes me absolutely sick to think about. I love Johnny and Gibsie though, so I'm excited for more of them in Keeping 13. Anyway, 4.5/5 stars from me.
