Gavin is the owner and now coach of the Boston Bolts. He is working hard to build trust with his team. When he meets a younger woman at a bar, he is instantly captivated by her and her voice. They hook up and they both have an amazing time together. But when Gavin finds out the woman is none other than Millie, his best friend's daughter, he freaks out, and what's worse... she knew the whole time. They try to stay away, but it is impossible. They decide to keep things secret, but it eventually becomes too much. Too much hiding, too much sneaking around, and too many hidden feelings. Then, another surprise is dropped on Gavin's doorstep, a baby girl. He is instantly in love and wants to do his best taking care of his daughter. This story was so good. It had so much banter and chemistry and was so emotional. I found myself tearing up at parts. This was a very captivating story and I could not wait to see what happened next, while also wanting it to last longer. Millie and Gavin were just so good together and wanted the best for each other. *Received an ARC and give my honest review*
