Sarah has been through a lot recently, and now is a single mom to twin 11-year-old boys. She has her hands full and feels like she's failing at every step. Colt has known and loved Sarah since they were in high school but lost his chances to be with her. But he's determined not to let his chance slip by again. Sammy is Sarah's brother-in-law, and he cares about her and a lot. When certain events happen, Sammy and Colt team together to make sure Sarah is safe. I really enjoyed this story! I really enjoy the suspense aspect of this series and can't wait to read more in the series. I was super excited to read Sarah's happy ending after the first book, and this was amazing for her. I loved seeing her finally start to realize that she was letting her past and trauma affect her and her relationships and make the changes to stop that. Received an ARC and give my honest review
